TTS strenghtens its research and development in the field of optical coatings in 2026 with a new project for high power laser applications. The project – Development of Advanced Optical Mirrors and Beam-splitters for Ultrathin Laser Pulses with High Energy – is undetaken by a consortium lead by Meopta s.r.o. with TTS, Masaryk University and HiLASE Centre of the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences as partners in it. TTS focuses on the development of metallic coatings both for laser mirrors and beam-splitters for the wavelenghts of 1030, 515, 343 and 257 nm.
Work on the project started in January 2026 and it is planned to finish at the end of 2027. TTS work is realized at TTS facility in Lanškroun specializing on the deposition of high-quality metallic thin films.
The project is is co-funded by the European Union in the framework of the programme OP TAC – Aplikace – DEEP TECH – call III (project code: CZ.01.01.01/01/24_063/0006952).
