TTS PART OF A PROJECT CONSORTIUM FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF ADVANCED OPTICAL ELEMENTS FOR HIGH POWER LASERS

In 2023 TTS became a part of a consortium of an R&D project under the leadership of a Czech company Meopta – optika, s.r.o., for the realisation of optical elements for ultrathin laser pulses in the form of antireflective coatings, beamsplitters, metallic and high-reflective mirrors for the wavelengths of 257 nm, 343 nm, 515 nm and 1030 nm. The project, entitled Advanced optics for the application of ultrathin laser pulses in the DUV, VIS and NIR, is co-funded by the European Union in the framework of the program OP TAC – Aplikace – call I. Together with Meopta and TTS, Masaryk University and HiLASE Centre of the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences are partners in the project.

Work on the project started in February 2023 and it is planned to finish at the end of 2026. TTS work is realized at TTS facility in Lanškroun specializing on the deposition of high-quality metallic thin films.
